Come Fly with Me
The ten photographs shown in this blog were taken at my favorite location for observing and photographing Whooping Cranes on the Lamar Peninsula north of Rockport/Fulton, Texas.
I was very fortunate to get within 15 to 20 yards of these magnificent creatures without disturbing their activities. As they would fly and flap their wings, I couldn’t help but be reminded of Ol’ Blue Eyes singing “Come Fly with ME”.
Wow…lots of time used to get these great pictures😁. Thanks, Mike, for another “Job well done”!!!
Michael, these pics are superb! Great job!
Pleasures of art, creating and sharing! Thanks, Mike.
Those are absolutely amazing pictures of those beautiful creatures. I hope we make it down to see them.
Very nice Mike
Love the great photos! Wing span of this bird is huge! Wondering how big?
Beautiful pics Mike, you certainly have the touch…
Beautiful pictures. What is the wingspan of the crane?
I love the last photo, Michael. A flight through the cloudless sky is spectacular with an incredible wing span.
You captured amazing glimpses of these magnificent birds!
